RCCG pastor arrested abroad for greeting ‘ladies and gentlemen,’ — Adeboye
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has expressed concern over the erosion of moral values worldwide. During the church's monthly thanksgiving service, Adeboye shared two disturbing stories that he believes are signs of the end times.
The first story involved one of his pastors who was arrested abroad for addressing a gathering as "ladies and gentlemen." The pastor was reported for discrimination because the greeting did not include all genders. Adeboye saw this as an example of how societal values are changing and how Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs.
The second story involved a woman who referred to her dog as her husband. When asked about her spouse, the woman claimed that she had taken her "husband" to the vet and that he didn't talk. Adeboye was shocked by this story and saw it as an example of how people are rejecting traditional values and embracing unnatural relationships.
Adeboye's message was clear: Christians need to take a stand against the erosion of moral values and not compromise their faith. He encouraged his congregation to remain committed to their faith and to be prepared for the return of Jesus Christ.
This is not the first time Adeboye has spoken out against societal trends that he believes are contrary to Christian values. Recently, he criticized men with braided hair and women with false eyelashes and heavy makeup, saying that such styles would no longer be tolerated on RCCG altars.
